Welcome to my new photography blog. Paper Lantern Photography is my little nook and outlet for creativity. Check in often to see what/who I’ve been meeting. I will always try to post a sneak peek from new sessions.

I’m a mom to highly energetic toddler twin boys. They are my inspiration for photography and the reason I strive to be a better photographer. Watching them play makes me want to save every single moment before they grow up. I want to document their bonding, fighting, and view on the world. Being with them helps me understand that it is important to capture these memories. It helps me to connect to my clients and strive to freeze those memories for them. Whether you are celebrating a milestone, expecting a new addition, or just out for some fun, I would like to be your lifestyle photographer.

My style of photography is a little unique from your typical studio. I tend to be more natural, fresh, and on-location. My editing style is simple and I don't process your photographs with the latest fad. My goal is to capture your lifestyle and create photographs that are timeless. You will walk away with original photos which you will treasure forever.

Enjoy browsing my blog and email me to set up a session!

Our Boys | Lilburn GA Twin Photographer

As most of you know, we have toddler twin boys, Alexander and Christopher, AND they couldn't be more different! ;o) These images were captured this week on our trip to Hilton Head, SC. It captures their personalities so well!!! We really don't ever do "posed" images of our family. These lifestyle images are the ones that I will treasure forever.

They found sea foam and immediately had to touch it. Xandie (the one on the left) dove right in and Tophie already touched it and is looking a little annoyed (recurrent theme on this trip).

Xandie loves the foam! You can't get a smile like this by saying "cheese"! The other is still trying to get the foam and sand off of his fingers. LOL.

Xandie ran off to sit and play in the sand.

Tophie didn't want to leave the security of his wagon while airplane watching.

The D Man | Snellville Georgia Newborn Photographer

As one of our favorite urologist always says, "pee and poop must pass". Well this held true for this little man. No sooner did we put him on a brand new fresh blanket or take his diaper off, it came flowing! I had a blast meeting Mr. D today. He was such a good sleeper at 8 days old. Mom, I had a great time photographing you two. Enjoy your sneak peek!

Ten Fingers and Toes | Gainseville Newborn Photographer

Ahhhh... I love newborns. They are so cute and fresh! Meet miss A. She is the first born of our good friends. I went to school in FL with dad and we were the only two from our class to move to this area.

She is soooo cute! It makes me want a little girl. I can't wait to document her first year.
