Welcome to my new photography blog. Paper Lantern Photography is my little nook and outlet for creativity. Check in often to see what/who I’ve been meeting. I will always try to post a sneak peek from new sessions.

I’m a mom to highly energetic toddler twin boys. They are my inspiration for photography and the reason I strive to be a better photographer. Watching them play makes me want to save every single moment before they grow up. I want to document their bonding, fighting, and view on the world. Being with them helps me understand that it is important to capture these memories. It helps me to connect to my clients and strive to freeze those memories for them. Whether you are celebrating a milestone, expecting a new addition, or just out for some fun, I would like to be your lifestyle photographer.

My style of photography is a little unique from your typical studio. I tend to be more natural, fresh, and on-location. My editing style is simple and I don't process your photographs with the latest fad. My goal is to capture your lifestyle and create photographs that are timeless. You will walk away with original photos which you will treasure forever.

Enjoy browsing my blog and email me to set up a session!

The contest has been extended! | Georgia Child Photographer

Re-read the post about the contest below. The dates have been changed due to all of the things that have happened this week. Wow! The things that could happen in a week:

1. We had to replace our nanny (the biggest headache!)
2. Finally getting over this cold that hit 3/4 of our family members.
3. Getting my email hacked! (sorry for all of the missed emails and lost emails) If you haven't heard from me please re-send all correspondence to christie@paperlanterngallery.com only and not any other email accounts.

But things to look for in the upcoming week:
1. an awesome newborn session!
2. a commercial shoot (ok. so I don't always share my commercial work since it doesn't necessarily pertain to babies, children, and families), but I do commercial work or sometimes I share it and pass it off as some cute little baby! ;o)
3.  Also if you know any high school juniors (class of 2011), tell them to contact me ASAP!!! I am going to start accepting applications for spokes models for the class of 2011 soon! I will be accepting up to two students from each school in Gwinnett County, parts of Dekalb, and Hall counties!

Also, my pricing will be changing in a few months, so book your sessions soon to lock in our current rates. Rates will be locked in once session fees are paid.

I try not to post without a photo: I love it when he smiles so much that I can't see his eyes!
